Team owners

     The most important role within the league is the role of Team Owner, for without Team Owners, there would be no league. The top-priority of a Team Owner is to make the league an enjoyable thing to be a part of by bringing to the table one’s own unique blend of football knowledge, active participation over the course of the football season and overall good humor to keep the rest of us entertained. In addition, the duties that Team Owners must uphold include, but are not limited to the following:

· Set a competitive lineup of active players throughout weeks 1-16 of the NFL season

· Attend the Live Draft party with the league buy-in fee in CASH

· Keep track of how much money they owe to the Treasurer each week regarding waiver pickups and trades

· Show up to the Superbowl party 1 hour before kickoff in order to cast their vote in the annual ‘Log Jammin’ League 

     Attending the annual Live Draft and Superbowl parties is a requirement for Team Owners living in the Bay Area. Special accommodations were voted upon and approved to allow for Team Owners outside the Bay Area to miss up to two of the league parties in a row, but not within the same season. As a Team Owner, you have the right to ‘Skype-In’ to the Live Draft if they are unable to attend, but only one Team Owner is allowed this privilege per season with special priority given to Team Owners who live outside the Bay Area.
