Commissioner

     The role of Commissioner is to, above all else, ensure the integrity of the league by any means necessary. As the figurehead of the league, making sure that the league is still a fun thing to be a part of is of utmost importance. The duties that the Commissioner must uphold include, but are not limited to the following:

· Set the date and assist in finding a final location for the Live Draft party

· Assist in finding a final location for the Superbowl party

· Deliver a ‘State Of The League’ address at the Live Draft party prior to the draft itself

· Check every Team Owner’s lineup prior to the first kick-off of the day every Thursday, Sunday and Monday in order to ensure players in starting lineups are active

· If a Team Owner has an inactive player in their starting lineup, reach out to them via phone call and/or text message and notify them within 30 minutes before kickoff so they can make proper adjustments

· Lock a Team Owner’s team the night before waivers process if they have yet to pay the Treasurer for their waiver wire pickups or trades by 9pm

· Unlock a Team Owner’s team if it has been locked as soon as they have paid the Treasurer for their waiver wire pickups or trades

· Immediately notify the Trade Committee when a trade has been agreed upon by two Team Owners and Immediately process the trade if/when it is approved

· Find new Team Owners if one or more should leave the league
